A fresh crusty bread that steams as you tear off a hunk deserves better than a shmear of margarine. We love dipping fresh bread in extra virgin olive oil garnished with freshly grated garlic, cracked pepper and a few shavings of parmesan cheese off the block.
It's so simple, you'll effortlessly impress your guests when you serve the dipping oil and bread at your next dinner party.
Simple peel a clove of garlic and rub it back and forth over the ridges in the bottom of the plate to grate it. It takes surprisingly little pressure. Drizzle a high quality extra virgin olive oil over top, then a fresh pepper grind and shaved parmesan. Mix it up with an infused basil oil if you'd like or add an Herbs de Provence mixture for more zip.
Approximate dimensions are 1 1/4" x 7" and will vary slightly due to the handmade nature of wheel thrown pottery, but that's what makes it so cool.
